1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using AfriTech ThinkLab's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms create a legal agreement between you and AfriTech ThinkLab. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please don't use our services - we understand they may not be right for everyone.

AfriTech ThinkLab provides data analytics, technology consulting, software development, and digital transformation services specifically designed for organizations across Africa. Our services include:

7. Service Availability and Support
We strive to provide reliable, high-quality services and aim for 99.5% uptime for our core platforms. While we can't guarantee 100% availability due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances, we commit to:
- Prompt notification of planned maintenance
- Quick resolution of service issues
- Regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures
- 24/7 monitoring of critical systems
- Responsive customer support during business hours
8. Pricing and Payment
Our pricing is transparent and competitive. Payment terms vary by service type and are clearly outlined in your service agreement. We typically offer:
- Monthly or annual billing cycles

9. Changes to Services and Terms

- We'll notify you at least 30 days before significant changes take effect
- Minor clarifications may be made with shorter notice
- You can review all changes and decide whether to continue using our services
- Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms
10. Limitation of Liability
While we work hard to provide excellent service, we need to be clear about liability limits. We're responsible for providing services with reasonable care and skill, but we can't be liable for:
- Indirect losses or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities beyond our direct control
- Issues caused by third-party services or your own systems
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, government actions, etc.)
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the issue occurred. This doesn't limit our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or violations of data protection laws.
11. Termination
Either party can end this agreement, and we want the process to be fair and clear:
You can terminate by:
- Giving us 30 days' written notice
- Canceling your subscription through your account
- Contacting our support team
We may terminate for:
- Violation of these terms (after warning when possible)
- Non-payment after reasonable notice
- Illegal use of our services
- Business closure (with 90 days' notice)
Upon termination, you'll retain access to your data for 30 days to facilitate export or transfer.
12. Dispute Resolution
We prefer to resolve issues through direct communication, but if disputes arise:
- First, we'll try to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation
- If needed, we can use mediation through recognized mediation services
- As a last resort, disputes will be handled under Ugandan law
- We'll cover reasonable mediation costs for qualifying disputes
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. However, we respect and comply with applicable international laws and the local laws of countries where our clients operate, particularly regarding data protection and consumer rights.
